Crystals for Anxiety and Stress

The crystals that each person needs to heal Anxiety and Stress will always differ and be unique because each person has a different circumstance and life. 



The most important thing to take away from this post is to follow your intuition and gut feeling when choosing crystals for your specific circumstances. Even when a crystal might fit the description to help with your specific situation, it may not be what you need to resolve it for yourself. The reason behind this is that what you may be looking for and what you need are different. For example, you might be looking for a calming crystal to feel more calm, however, the source of your stress may be related to something entirely different. While the calming crystal will help you feel calm, it might not be targeting the true source of what you’re feeling. 



The main crystals that help with anxiety and stress the most are going to be crystals that contain: higher amounts of ‘heavy’ metals such as iron and lithium, or contain minerals such as Aluminum, Boron, Calcium, Copper, Manganese and  Magnesium. The main crystals that contain these elements in safe-to-handle amounts are: Amethyst,  Aquamarine,Chalcedony, Blue Lace Agate, Howlite, Lepidolite and Lithium Quartz amongst others. These are the crystals that I have found help the most people the most consistently with Anxiety and Stress, but they are  just a few of the crystals that can help. 


The best way to use these crystals to help Anxiety and Stress would be to get 2-3 of each kind. I recommend a Medium-Large piece for your bedroom, a Medium piece for the place that you experience the most Anxiety and Stress and one piece to carry with you in your pocket or on your person. Having the larger crystal in your room is going to help you destress and relax the most for you to have the best opportunity to recover and have good sleep. This is important because oftentimes Anxiety and Stress symptoms are intense enough that you feel overwhelmed by the feeling and have challenges seeing their source. When you are more relaxed and well rested, there is a better chance that you’ll be able to identify and resolve the cause of what you’re experiencing. The medium piece for where you experience the most Anxiety and Stress is so that you can begin to bring change to that environment so that you feel less stressed out and are able to feel more comfortable in that environment again. The small piece to carry with you is so that you have a focal point to come back to if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed. Carrying it with you will help because you’ll have the qualities of that crystal with you so that you’ll feel less anxiety and less stress while also having the crystal to help you out of those emotions if you need. Carrying crystals with you changes how you feel and behave which also changes the environment around you. The best feeling and most rewarding outcome is when something that used to bring you anxiety and stress now brings you comfortability and peace.
